My Approach

Two main philosophical approaches are usually recognized in traditional Chinese medicine. One is the "traditional" or southern school of thought, which believes that illness and disease arise from a disturbance within one's qi energy level (a form related to the human life force). Qi moves along fourteen meridians on our bodies' surface at specific points called acupuncture stations; it's aimed at reestablishing this flow correctly through all parts so as not to cause more problems than necessary! The other primary perspective views things differently - rather than being caused by something internally wrong with us, they believe these conditions come about because there has been an external force acting upon them.
